Many people are now finding that it is too expensive to move to a bigger home. They find they may lose space in the garden or the memories of the kids growing up will be lost by moving; so instead I have many people contacting me about converting their loft and using the potential space they have to make their house bigger and more functional.
Converting a loft can seem a daunting task if you have not read up on the do's and don'ts and the building requirements. So that you don't have to carry out research I have done it for you and provided you with a page of what you need to do to meet the requirements for a loft conversion. The biggest advice I can give is to talk to me about your budgets and I will at least be able to tell you if it is achievable. What you do need to understand is that like with any jobs, delays or set backs can happen or even additional work is needed in order to create the perfect conversion for you. You may find that a delivery can't be made for a couple of days, or the weather may not be good, or until you start taking parts out you couldn't see that x,y, or z needs to happen. However all of this will be discussed with you and you will be advised if there are any additional costs. What you don't want is someone to quote a ridiculously low price and you think "yes I got a bargain" and then you get hit with a bill for additional work that has doubled the original price. Communication is key!
Please take a look through the gallery of the before, during and after pictures so that you can see the structural work as well as the finished look. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to send me a message on the "contact me" section below, and if you would like a no obligation free quote then I am more than happy to help.
